PTO Fundraising Recap for 08/09

first day of school image courtesy of flickr member foreversoulsLast year, the PTO budgeted fundraising to raise $21,450 to pay for programs and activities for the ’08-’09 school year. Although all programs and activities have taken place as planned, our fundraising efforts brought in $2,000 less than expected, largely due to decreased donations to the 100% Fund.

Besides fundraising dollars, our organization depends on our generous volunteers, their ideas and their continued feedback.

The 09/10 Executive Board is having an early 09/10 meeting in the Central School library on June 2 at 9 am to solicit input on next year’s PTO budget. If you have any ideas, budget requests, or special considerations you would like the budget committee to consider, please attend. The purpose of this meeting is to gather information for the budget committee; no decisions will be made. This meeting is open to all members, but committee chairs are strongly urged to attend.
