Looking for a way to help this holiday season?

• Please come to the Tattered Book Cover Meeting on Friday, December 4, 2009 right after drop off (in the library).
• Help cover new books and replace tattered covers, 1 book at a time, even if you only have 15 minutes.
• Complete training will be provided at the meeting.
• If you have any questions, or if you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to help, please contact Jeannine Glavas
• Any help is appreciated, and it feels good!

How can your Holiday grocery shopping help Central Elementary PTO?

Buy Riverside Foods Gift Cards and earn 5% for Central PTO.

Order your gift cards to Riverside Foods by Friday (12/4) and receive them on Monday (12/7).

Gifts Cards must be ordered in $25.00 increments.

E-mail your order to Samantha Durst.  You will receive a confirmation of your order, arrangements for payment pick-up will be made and the gift cards will be delivered to you by Monday evening.

Money raised will help restore budget cuts to Garden Gurus, Science in a Can, 5^th Grade T-shirts, Programs, Cameras for the Teachers, and Jr. Great Books.

100% goes to Central!  100% is tax deductible!

This year, lower your taxable income with a check to the Central PTO-before December 31, 2009.  Giving to the Central 100% Fund directly benefits your children with terrific PTO sponsored programs and activities that enrich their education all year long.  Your entire contribution is a tax write-off since the Central PTO is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization.

So far, there has been good response to the 100% Fund.  We have collected over $6,000 towards our yearly goal of $10,000 and we sincerely thank those of you who have contributed so generously!  Giving is optional, but without your support we can’t fund the PTO.

Parents are encouraged to contribute a suggested amount of $100 per family, but any amount is greatly appreciated and will be well utilized.  Please donate now for your 2009 deduction!

Please make checks payable to Central PTO and return to school office by 12/31/09 to secure your tax deduction.
