Posted Feb 8, 2010 | Category: MeetingsIn response to the discussion at the general meeting 2/2, the Nomination Committee and the Parliamentarian recommends the following by-law changes. They have been further revised to add a term-limit to the president and treasurer.
ARTICLE VIII
OFFICERS AND THEIR ELECTION

A person shall not be eligible to serve more than two (2) consecutive terms as president or treasurer, unless approved by the General Membership by vote; upon approval, that person shall be eligible for nomination either by the Nominating Committee or from the floor. The president or treasurer may serve no more than three (3) consecutive terms. Other officers may serve more than two consecutive terms.
