Ceramics & Pipe Cleaners! Saturday, 4/28, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Riverside Arts Center

Our after-school classes are filled, but there is still space in Saturday’s classes at the Riverside Arts Center. If you’re interested in attending, please email Cyndi Robinson at sfw@centralptonews.org.

  • Ceramics Class with Tami Gagné
  • Pipe Cleaner Class with Mr. T

Fee –  $10 materials fee per one-hour session, payable by cash or check payable to Riverside Arts Center

 

Registration is not required for the following events, just drop in for some screen-free fun:

Author Eric Rohmann Event, Monday, 4/23, 7:00 p.m., Riverside Village Hall

Eric Rohmann, award-winning author and illustrator of many beloved children’s books, including My Friend Rabbit, winner of the 2003 Caldecott Medal, is coming to Riverside! Don’t miss this exciting event, which is sponsored by the Riverside Public Library, North Riverside Public Library, and the Central, Ames, Blythe Park and Hollywood PTA/PTOs.

Crazy Craft Day, Tuesday, 4/24, 3:30 – 5:30, Riverside Public Library

We’re Spring cleaning at the Library, and have lots of crafts of all kinds for you to do, but there’s just a few of each kind! Everything from kaleidoscopes to decorative boxes to backpacks to weaving to sock puppets. First-come-first-served. Family fun for school-aged children!

Central Fun Fair, Friday, 4/27, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., Hauser Big Gym

Sponsored by the Central PTO and hosted by Junior Girl Scout Troop 40129.

Olmsted Society Workday, Saturday, 4/28, 9:00 a.m. – Noon, Scottswood Commons

Join the Frederick Law Olmsted Society to celebrate Arbor Day by weeding and maintain a Riverside landmark.
