Clip Box Tops & Earn Cash for Central

Posted Feb 1, 2012 | Category: Fundraising

Dear Central School Families,

Thank you so much for collecting Box Tops!  We have earned $374 so far this school year to support programs sponsored by our PTO.  Please continue to turn in Box Tops and collection sheets to the bin outside of the school office.

As a reminder, please turn in any Box Tops or collection sheets that you have saved by the end of February so that they may be redeemed during this school year!

Finally,  please save Tyson product labels.  Each label is worth $0.24.  Send them in to school with Box Tops and Campbell’s labels.  Every label collected benefits the Central PTO!

Thanks for your continued support!

Take Charge of Education, through Target

Posted Oct 19, 2011 | Category: Fundraising

Help Us Help Our School

Did you know there’s an easy way to help us raise money for our school?  It’s called Take Charge of Education, through Target, and it’s helping our school right now.  This past year we raised $1,196.76 and, to date, we have raised $12,115.38 for Central.

Here’s how it works:  Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school, then use your REDcard whenever you shop.  When you use your REDcard (Target Visa Credit Card, Target Credit Card or Target Check Card), Target will donate 1% of your purchases to the eligible K-12 school of your choice.  (See the website for complete Take Charge of Education program rules.)

Don’t have a REDcard and would like one?  It’s easy to apply.  Get started in person at any Target store or go to target.com/redcard.

Also:  grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the program.  The more people we involve, the harder the program works for our school.  If you’re already participating, thank you!  Check out our school’s progress anytime at Target.com/tcoe.

Box Top Labels earn money for the PTO

Posted Oct 19, 2011 | Category: Everything Else, Fundraising

Time to Clip Box Top Labels!

What:
Clip Box Top Labels to help the PTO earn money for programs such as Science in a Can, Cultural Arts, and Screen Free Week, all while shopping for your favorite grocery items!  Your clipped labels typically earn over $600 for the PTO.  UPC codes saved from many products are redeemed for PE equipment through Campbell’s Labels for Education Program.  And don’t forget to register your Jewel or Dominick’s frequent shopper card through elabelsforeducation.com and earn double the benefits for our school.

How
:  Simply tear off labels or UPC’s and send them to school in a baggie or envelope.  Or for more fun, affix each label to the “Batty” sheet, attached.  Please write your child’s name on the envelope so that he may be entered into a drawing for a prize.  Examples of Labels include the following: Campbells, Select Harvest, PACE, Pepperidge Farm, Emerald, People, Glad, Bic, Spaghettios, Prego, Franco American, V8, Goldfish, PopSecret, Wolfgang Puck, Dannon, and Post cereals (Alpha-bits, Bran Flakes, Cocoa Pebbles, Honey Comb, Shredded Wheat, etc.)  And of course, look for Tyson Project A+ labels.

WhereDrop off the labels or UPC’s in the collection bin outside of the school office.  Make sure you write your child’s name on the baggie or envelope so that he/she may be entered into a drawing for a prize!!
